We’re seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer ready to take the next step into a leadership role - with a clear pathway to Company Associate for the right candidate.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll be involved in a wide range of exciting and technically diverse projects, including:

• Large-scale residential developments with the Land Development Agency (LDA)

• High-rise and low-rise private residential projects nationwide

• Refurbishment of historic structures for OPW and other clients

• New-build commercial offices and hotels

• Fit-out and refurbishment of commercial spaces

• Industrial and data centre developments

Your Role

As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will:

• Lead projects from feasibility through to construction

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, directors, and design teams

• Manage client relationships and coordinate multidisciplinary teams

• Deliver innovative, practical, and compliant structural solutions

• Oversee preparation of technical reports, specifications, and tender documentation

• Act as Ancillary Certifier and carry out site inspections where required

• Mentor and develop junior engineers

• Contribute to continuous improvement of company standards and processes

What We’re Looking For

• Level 8+ Degree in Structural Engineering (Masters or Honours)

• Chartered Engineer (Engineers Ireland / IStructE), or close to achieving

• 10+ years’ experience across a broad range of structural projects

• Strong knowledge of Eurocodes (Ireland/UK/Europe experience preferred)

• Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

• Experience with BCAR inspections (desirable)

• Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, ETABS)
